When I first saw it, I thought it was a plant seed or a bean.
最初見たとき、植物の実とか豆かと思いました。
I quickly realized that wasn’t the case, though.
すぐにちがうときづきましたが。
It’s a truly unusually shaped and beautiful building.
とても変わった形の美しい建物ですね。
After looking it up, I learned that it was designed by a French architect.
調べたらフランスのかたがデザインされた建物だとわかりました。

Is the one on the right a New Year’s stamp?
右側はお正月の切手かな？
I also noticed a red stamp for the first time this time (or maybe I just missed it before).
今回初めて見た赤いスタンプがありました（今まで見落としていたかも）。
Since it has the character “水” (water), I thought it meant it was delivered by sea freight, but it turns out this character actually indicates land route.
水って書いてあるから「航路」で届いたのかと思ったら、この文字で陸路ということなんですね。
