The stamp features the national flower of the Philippines! It’s such a lovely flower.

切手はフィリピンの国花なんだ！かわいらしいお花ですね。

By the way, Japan’s national flowers are the cherry blossom (sakura) and the chrysanthemum.

ちなみに日本は「桜」と「菊」です。

I learned that Jose Rizal passed away at a young age.

ホセ・リサールさんは若くして亡くなられたんですね。

Upon looking into it, I found out that he stayed in Japan for about a month.

調べてみると、日本にも1ヶ月ほど滞在されたことがあるとか。

There is even a statue of Jose Rizal in Hibiya Park, Tokyo, Japan!

日本の東京の日比谷公園にもホセ・リサールさんの銅像があるようです。
