I chose this postcard because you mentioned that you are a ‘cat servant.’

「猫のしもべさん」って書いてあったので、このポストカードに決めました。

This is an illustration by Keiko Shibata, one of my favorite illustrators.

私の大好きな柴田ケイコさんのイラストです。

By the way, the backpack this little one is wearing is called a ‘randoseru’ in Japan. It is a traditional school backpack used by elementary school children.

ちなみにこの子が背負っているものは「ランドセル」です。

There is a little cat on one of the stamps, too. (^-^)

切手の中にも猫ちゃんがいます(*^-^*)

I also added a to-do list, just as you requested.

リクエストにあったTo do リストも書きましたよ。

It’s just a little something, but I hope you like it. (haha)

By the way, Japan’s national volleyball team won the game that day.

ちなみに、この日のバレーボールは勝ちました。

The next morning, as I mentioned, I made a bento lunch for my child.

翌朝は書いていたとおり、お弁当を作りました。
