私がとても好きな作家さん「subikiawa」のポストカードにしました。

I chose a postcard by one of my favorite artists, subikiawa.

気に入ってくれたらうれしいな。

As I wrote on the postcard, you were the first person from Japan I met through Postcrossing and Postcard United.

だから、久々に切手が85円なのと

So, for the first time in quite a while, I was happy to use an 85-yen stamp.

AIR MAIL が不要なのが新鮮。

It felt refreshing that I didn’t need to write “AIR MAIL.”

もちろん、日本語で書くこともです。

Of course, writing in Japanese as well.
