I got excited just from finding an envelope in the letterbox.

When I was a kid, cute notepads were one thing, but also tiny prize figures and, for some reason, scented tissues! (lol)

子どもの頃は、かわいいメモ帳もそうでしたが、小さなおまけの人形とか、なぜか香り付きティッシュとか（笑）

Talking about your notepad brought back fond memories from my childhood.
