You are someone who kindly said that any postcard would be fine.
ポストカードはなんでもいいとおっしゃってくださるあなた。
I had a hard time deciding what kind of postcard to choose.
なんにしたらいいか迷いました。
The only clue you gave me was “science.
唯一のヒントが「科学」
So, I picked this postcard because it was the one in my collection that seemed the closest to “science.
で、わたしのポストカードの中で「科学」に一番近そうだったのがコレ。
This postcard shows the Tanegashima Space Center, located in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.
鹿児島県の種子島宇宙センターのポストカードです。
I added some space-related stamps to match the postcard.
切手も宇宙に関係するものを貼ってみました。
Because of its shape, this type of postcard has to be placed in an envelope when sending it abroad.
こういう形のポストカードは、海外におくるときには封筒にいれないといけません。
So, into an envelope it goes.
なので、封筒へ。
I did have one space-themed stamp, but…
切手は、1つだけは宇宙に関するものがあったのだけど…
By the way, the yellow stamp on the left features “Issun-boshi,” a character from a traditional Japanese folktale. It is from the Japanese animation series “Nihon Mukashi Banashi.”
ちなみに、左側の黄色いのは「にほん昔ばなし」の「一寸法師」です。
